HYPHEN BioMed supported the activities of “Vaincre avec Elles”
🎗️ For the second consecutive year, HYPHEN BioMed had the honor to welcome the association "Vaincre Avec Elles" for an afternoon of breast cancer awareness.
This association, composed of people affected by cancer and their caregivers, reminded us of the alarming figures.
Breast cancer is both the most common and the most deadly cancer in women.
📈 58 500 new cases are diagnosed, and more than 12 000 deaths are recorded each year*.
This means that one woman in eight will be affected by breast cancer in her lifetime.
💡 Thanks to prevention and awareness campaigns, the incidence and mortality of breast cancer are decreasing year after year.
In the majority of cases, it takes several months, even years, to develop. Detected early, it is a cancer with a good prognosis and a stable survival rate (87%)*.
✋ Given these data, HYPHEN BioMed feels invested with a mission of prevention and early detection to fight against breast cancer.
The association "Vaincre avec Elles" animated awareness workshops on the detection 🕵️🔍 of abnormalities and ended its intervention by offering a laughter yoga 🧘♀️😂 session, allowing the staff to have a moment of relaxation and sharing.
HYPHEN BioMed is proud to contribute to the fight against breast cancer by organizing this prevention campaign among its employees.
